Junior Operator License Course (JOL)

YOUTH/TEEN PACKAGE includes:

• Two-hour mandatory parent/guardian class
  
• 30 hours of classroom training
  
• 12 hours of behind-the-wheel driving lessons
  
• Six hours of observation of peer driver's lessons
  
• RMV Driver’s Education Certification fee ($15 value)
  
• The classroom training consists of 15, two-hour classes (15 modules/topics). Students are required to participate in every module/topic. 
  
• Students will be allowed to make up one missed topic/module during the next scheduled classroom training session at no cost. Any additional makeup will be $50 per class missed. 
  
• As per the policy of the State of Massachusetts, students must be at least 15 years and 9 months at the start of classes.
  
• In the State of Massachusetts, students must be 16 years old in order to obtain his/her learner’s permit.
  

CANCELLED OR MISSED DRIVING LESSONS (Adults and Youth/Teen):

• If you need to cancel a driving lesson for any reason, please do so at least 24 hours before your scheduled appointment.  
  
• Any appointment that is canceled in violation of these terms or not attended will result in a $40 missed appointment fee. 
  
• Your next appointment will not be confirmed until the $40 missed appointment fee is paid.
