The approach and basic body position will be emphasized while teaching fundamental dives. Divers will receive specific instructions and timely guidance toward their diving goals. They should be able to recover from a headfirst dive and comfortably swim a short distance to the side of the pool. Additionally, divers should be able to tread water for one minute.
